From 55157bfd0e749784fae3f1752242f2c5ac79a891 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Roman Pushkin Date: Sat, 2 Jul 2016 09:05:05 -0700 Subject: [PATCH] Ignore *.pid.lock Some popular applications (for example, Phusion Passenger) leave `*.pid.lock` file(s). For example, when you type `passenger start` with simple express app listening on port 3000, it leaves the following files: * `passenger.3000.pid` (removed when passenger stops) * `passenger.3000.log` * `passenger.3000.pid.lock` While `*pid` and `*.log` are ignored, `*.pid.lock` remains unignored. Phusion Passenger is quite popular, and `*.pid.lock` file should be ignored. --- Node.gitignore | 1 + 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+) diff --git a/Node.gitignore b/Node.gitignore index 5148e527..aea5294d 100644 --- a/Node.gitignore +++ b/Node.gitignore @@ -7,6 +7,7 @@ npm-debug.log* pids *.pid *.seed +*.pid.lock # Directory for instrumented libs generated by jscoverage/JSCover lib-cov
